Wallaringa Farm

  • Wallaringa Farm is located in Wallaringa, NSW, near Dungog and the foothills of the Barrington Tops. The property is set amongst rolling hills, peaceful countryside and wide open paddocks, offering a private Hunter Valley farm stay experience.

  • Wallaringa Farm is approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney by car, depending on traffic and your starting point. It is close enough for a weekend escape, while still feeling peaceful, private and far removed from the everyday.

  • Wallaringa Farm is approximately one hour from Newcastle, making it an easy country escape for guests travelling from the coast, city or surrounding Hunter Valley region.

  • Wallaringa Farm offers boutique country accommodation across The Farmhouse and The Stables. The Farmhouse is ideal for families, small groups and getaways, while The Stables are designed as adults only cabin style accommodation for couples.

The farmhouse

  • The Farmhouse sleeps up to six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

  • Yes. The Farmhouse is well suited to families and small groups. It offers cosy spaces, a peaceful country setting and plenty of room to slow down and enjoy time together.

  • No, Wallaringa Farm is not pet friendly. As a working farm with livestock, wildlife and open paddocks, we are unable to accommodate pets for the safety and wellbeing of the animals who live on the property.

  • No, The Farmhouse does not have a TV. This is intentional. Wallaringa Farm is designed as a place to slow down, switch off and reconnect with the people you are staying with, whether that means long meals, quiet mornings, time outdoors or simply enjoying the peaceful farm setting.

  • Yes. The Farmhouse includes a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals, enjoy slow breakfasts or settle in for relaxed evenings together.

  • Yes. The Farmhouse is ideal for girls getaways, birthday weekends, family celebrations and small group escapes. It offers space to gather, dine, relax and enjoy optional experiences such as private chef dining, wine tastings or in-house pamper sessions.

  • Yes. Depending on your stay, optional extras may include grazing platters, wine tastings, pamper sessions, celebration cakes, florals and other curated experiences. These can be explored through our package guides or discussed when you enquire.

  • The Stables are boutique adults only accommodation at Wallaringa Farm, designed for couples wanting a peaceful, romantic and private country escape.

  • No. The Stables are adults only accommodation and are not suitable for children. They have been designed as a quiet retreat for couples and adult guests.

  • The Stables are designed for two adults, making them ideal for couples, romantic weekends, anniversaries, minimoon stays and peaceful country escapes.

  • Yes. The Stables include a private outdoor bath, creating a beautiful way to slow down, unwind and enjoy the peaceful farm setting.

  • Yes. The Stables are included in selected elopement experiences and are especially suited to couples wanting a private, romantic stay as part of their wedding celebration.

  • Yes. The Stables are designed to feel secluded, peaceful and private, with beautiful views across the farm and a calm atmosphere suited to couples.

  • For some stays or special occasions, booking both accommodation options may be possible. Please contact us with your preferred dates and plans so we can guide you on availability and suitability.

Elopememts

  • Our elopement packages are designed for intimate celebrations of 2 to 10 people, depending on the package selected.

  • Yes. Accommodation is included in our elopement packages, allowing you to stay onsite and enjoy the farm as part of your wedding experience.

  • Our elopement packages include accommodation, celebrant, photography, florals and access to beautiful ceremony locations across the farm. Optional additions are also available if you would like to elevate your experience further.

  • Yes. Our packages provide a thoughtful foundation, with optional additions available including videography, private chef dining, hair and makeup, styling, additional florals and more.

  • Yes. Our elopements are designed as intimate midweek celebrations, allowing couples to enjoy a slower and more private experience.

  • We will work with you to make the most of the day and choose the most suitable ceremony option available. Rain can often create a beautiful, romantic atmosphere on the farm.

getaway packages

  • The Girls Getaway package includes two nights in The Farmhouse, accommodation for up to six adults, late Sunday checkout, a local grazing platter and bottle of bubbles on arrival, and a generous brunch hamper to enjoy over two slow mornings.

  • The Celebration Getaway package includes two nights in The Farmhouse, accommodation for up to six adults or eight guests including children, late Sunday checkout, a local grazing platter and bottle of bubbles on arrival, and a generous brunch hamper.

  • Yes. Optional additions may include private chef dining, wine tastings, grazing, pamper sessions, breathwork and sound healing, celebration cakes, florals, meal delivery and local winery lunches.

  • Yes. These packages are designed around private use of The Farmhouse, allowing you to relax, gather and enjoy the property with your group.
