Welcome to Wallaringa Farm
Hello and welcome to The Farmhouse.
We are so delighted to have you staying with us. This guest manual has been created to help you plan your trip, settle in with ease and make the most of your time in the Dungog region.
Wallaringa is a peaceful country retreat and working farm, so we ask that you read through the relevant sections before your stay and take care around animals, gates, fences, fireplaces and rural surroundings.
We hope your stay feels slow, grounding and deeply restful.
Safe travels,
The Wallaringa Farm team
Quick Information at a Glance
-
Wallaringa Farmhouse is located in a rural area, so a little planning before you arrive will help make your stay feel seamless.
We recommend purchasing groceries, drinks and any personal essentials before arriving, especially if you are checking in later in the day. Dungog has an IGA, butcher, bakery, bottle shop and a selection of local stores, though trading hours may vary on weekends and public holidays.
Please download your directions or map before travelling, as mobile reception can vary in rural areas. Starlink Wi-Fi is available at the farmhouse once you arrive.
If this is your first time visiting Wallaringa, we recommend arriving in daylight where possible. Country roads can be darker than expected at night and wildlife may be active around dusk and dawn.
Please also check the weather before you pack. Farm stays often call for layers, comfortable shoes and clothing suited to both warm days and cool evenings.
-
Wallaringa Farmhouse is located at:
321 Wallaringa Road, Wallaringa NSW 2420
The nearest town is Dungog, which is approximately 15 minutes from the farmhouse.
Please use Google Maps for the most accurate directions. Before you begin the final part of your journey, we recommend checking that your map has fully loaded, as phone reception may drop in some rural pockets.
When driving along Wallaringa Road, please take your time and drive slowly. This is a quiet rural road used by locals, farm vehicles and wildlife. Kangaroos and other animals may be active at dawn, dusk and after dark.
If you are arriving after dark, please drive carefully and use your arrival instructions to locate the farmhouse, parking area and entry point.
-
Check in is available from 3:00 PM.
Access details will be provided on the morning of your arrival. These will include instructions for entering the farmhouse and locating the keys. For security, lockbox details are sent privately to guests prior to arrival.
On arrival, please park in the designated gravel parking area or carport, not on the grass, and make your way to the farmhouse entrance. Once inside, take a moment to settle in, connect to the Wi-Fi and familiarise yourself with the property.
If anything appears damaged, missing or not working when you arrive, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist.
