Hannah & Stephen’s Hunter Valley Farm Elopement

Eloping with children doesn’t mean compromising on beauty or romance—in fact, it can bring an even deeper sense of connection to your day.

There’s something truly special about a couple choosing to do things their own way. Hannah and Stephen were the very first to elope at Wallaringa Farm—and their day couldn’t have been more perfect.

Set on our 750-acre property in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, they exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony with just two witnesses and their beautiful little girl by their side. It was intimate, personal, and full of quiet magic—the kind of day that shows just how meaningful eloping with children can be.

As golden hour light spilled across the hills, celebrant Julie Muir led a ceremony filled with love, laughter, and emotion. With their daughter in their arms and the soft breeze drifting through the trees, it felt as though the whole landscape leaned in to listen.

Photographer Ell from Rogue Weddings captured every moment in her signature candid style—including the sweetest wedding photos with horses, who gently wandered over to join the family as the sun dipped behind the hills. It was wild, beautiful, and completely unscripted.

After the ceremony, there were no timelines or formalities—just open space, golden light, and time to soak in the joy. Eloping with children doesn’t mean compromising on beauty or romance—in fact, it can bring an even deeper sense of connection to your day.

“We recently had the most amazing time eloping at Wallaringa Farm! The host Jordana was absolutely amazing, friendly, and so so helpful connecting us with local suppliers for our wedding day. The views surrounding were like no other and the decor/architecture was an experience in itself! We felt so welcomed (especially by the love heart of flowers and chocolates left on our bed) and hope to take our family here for years to come! (The open plan was a huge hit with our crawling toddler). Wallaringa Farm was the perfect place to start our life as husband and wife :)”
