Krystal & Aaron’s Outdoor Elopement Ceremony

Surrounded by just ten of their closest family, friends and their beautiful son, their celebration was personal, joyful, and full of love.

Krystal and Aaron chose to celebrate their love with a relaxed and intimate micro wedding at Wallaringa Farm, nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Surrounded by just ten of their closest family and friends—and their beautiful son, who stole hearts all day—their celebration was personal, joyful, and full of love.

A soft spring drizzle rolled in during the afternoon, casting a romantic mist over the rolling hills. Far from dampening spirits, the moody skies added a quiet magic to this micro wedding in the Hunter Valley, enhancing every moment.

The ceremony was held in front of Wallaringa’s sweeping hills, framed by a stunning floral nest by The Flower Shop Dungog. Using locally grown blooms in Krystal’s chosen colour palette, the space became what we now fondly call The Nest of Dreams. Celebrant Meredith brought warmth and presence to the ceremony, creating a moment that was heartfelt, joy-filled, and deeply moving. Every vow was felt, every laugh shared, and not a single eye stayed dry.

After the ceremony, Krystal slipped off her heels and wandered barefoot across the paddocks with Aaron, hand in hand. Their easy connection and adventurous spirit made for an unforgettable photo session with Rogue Weddings. Each image captured the essence of their love—intimate, romantic, and beautifully wild—set against a cinematic backdrop of misty fields, golden grass, and weathered farm fences.

As the sun dipped below the hills, guests gathered on the deck for a long-table dinner under the open sky. The scent of wood-fired pizza filled the air as Knocking Gnocchi served handmade gnocchi and rustic Italian fare—fresh, warming, and meant to be shared. It was the perfect ending to a micro wedding filled with love, connection, and slow living in nature.

“We loved our time at Wallaringa Farm and are so grateful to use your amazing space for our intimate wedding – it was truly magical!”
